Mission and Vision

The mission of the SBCC University Transfer Center is to provide the services and resources necessary to increase the transfer opportunities of students to baccalaureate granting institutions. The services of the UTC support students in exploring their transfer university options, learning about transfer admission requirements, creating a transfer plan, and the transfer admission application process.

Services We Provide

• Counselor of the Day (assistance with transfer planning)
• Advising Services (by appointment only)
• Transfer admission agreements and guarantees with select universities
• UTC workshops and events (UC TAG application, UC application, CSU application, Transfer 101, and the SBCC Transfer Fair)
• Access to appointments with university representatives
• Information regarding university webinars, events, and tours
• University resources to guide transfer exploration and planning
